@LaloGuzman lo que hice fue instalar el programa de RT72 desde la página oficial de Retevis.
Luego conecté el micro usb o el cable de programación por audio. Ambos aparecen como algo de impresora en windows.
En el programa le das leer y debes darle otro click en la ventana con la barra de progreso (super poco intuitivo), comenzará a leer y podrás luego editar los parámetros que necesites. Finalmente le das en escribir. Eso me funcionó con la dm-x que tiene firmware L5.
Aún lo logro meterle los contactos por csv, los escribo con otra app de RT, LContact. Los escribo y leo sin problemas con el programa pero desde el menú de la radio me sale que no hay contactos csv.

@LaloGuzman ahora acabo de hacer funcionar los contactos CSV. Bajé la lista (para RT72) desde https://guia.sdrchile.cl/es/idsdmr/exportar y la cargué con LContacts (bajado desde RT72). Ahora me salen los contactos automáticamente cuando llegan llamadas de grupos

Ah, ok. pero lo que yo le contestaba al colega diciendo que tenía el mismo problema, es que la pantalla del DM-1702 queda en blanco. La radio recibe perfectamente, pero en la pantalla no sale nada, tampoco he podido ponerla en modo mantención.

Does anyone happen to have a bin file for L05.01.004 for the DM1702?

Mine is restarting at random times and I’d like to do a factory reset back to original firmware if possible…

I’m having the a similar issue with mine, in that it keeps locking up and key presses are going unregistered for several seconds (sometimes longer). Its running the same firmware L05.01.004 so would really appreciate if someone could share that bin file so we can try re-flashing.

Its getting to the point where I’m even willing to try flashing other ‘similar’ firmwares to see if any work better. I would like to try the right one first though, as I think messing around with other firmwares will eventually brick this handset.

I just got my 1702 today, it comes with firmware 23, but I don´t have GPS on the menu.

Does this make sense?

Also with the issue of receiving signal in digital (Dark green led) but no audio at all

Hello! It is mandatory to have predefined groups in the “RX Group List” menu.

I’m working right now. In 4-5 hours I will look in detail and write to you. By the way, this model of baofeng is my first walkie-talkie. I replaced it with Anytone 878uv. Anytone allows 98% configuration of itself.
