I have a yaesu ft-65 that’s for some reason won’t transmit to my other handhelds excepts one. Very frustrating. It will transmit and receive with a pofung uv82 but on my baofengs I can’t transmit to them. The baofeng will acknowledge that is getting a signal but no audio with come through. Fairly new to the ham radio world as I barely passed my exam so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks I’m advance.
If you’ve proved it is transmitting with the one successful link, then the problem is at the receiver end, assuming it’s not in some crazy wide band mode. So it will be tone related. Are the ones receiving using ordinary squelch or have a tone required.
It sounds like you’ve got tones in the way.
