Hello friends!
Another green question for you all, my Wouxun KG-UV980P (advertised as a 50watt max radio) powered by Jesverty sps-50II 13.8v output power supply, as a humble home base. I tested using both a dummy load and regular mobile antenna, and get around 36 watts out of the radio, best case was somewhere around the 2m call frequency and I got 40 watts, but mostly around the 36 watt range. Could there be something wrong with my radio? Could this mean this is a defective unit?
