How about securing the content so it actually plays in Google Podcast app?!?

I’m all for Digital GMRS especially if it’s on either newly opened licensed users ONLY channels, can also do voice calls and APRS, if not on their own new frequencies, or on frequencies already allocated on other bands, without a special license to use it, (tech, etc.) Not just the fraction of a second text messages.

Also, they need to remove FRS from GMRS and put it down with CB frequencies!

It should still be available in Google Podcasts. However, Google is discontinuing the app in early 2024, so you may want to find an alternative app for podcasts soon.

It’s still in it, just refuses to play because of insecure content.

Also, good to know it’s going away!

Interesting. It’s secure on our end https://www.buytwowayradios.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2/sites/2/twowayradioshow/TWRS-185.mp3

Looks like there is an old link in the show notes that was not secure. Google doesn’t use all the show notes, which is what makes it all the more interesting. That was fixed. Thanks!

You’re welcome! Glad it’s fixed, sad it’s going away soon…
