What are they worth?

I recieved on a trade 3 Motorola HT1250ls+, with speaker mics, with 5 extra batteries and a 6 bank charger. What do you think they are worth? Do you need a lisc. to use these radios? I dont have use for something this nice, just seeing what i’ve got on my hands.

I’ll give you $50 for the lot. They are worthless.

OK, I cannot tell a lie. They are high dollar sought after radios. DO NOT give them away, unless one is to me.

Ebay might be your best bet. They do fetch a nice price there. You could also try the for sale section of sites like RadioReference.com or PopularWireless.com

Oooh…
What are the model numbers?

I have seen them new on-sale on the web for $899 apiece! They are sweet!

The only people who can buy them new are companies and govt.

I’d love to have one but I will NOT bow to the big //'s strong arm tactics and totalitarianism.
If I buy a radio like that I want to program it myself!
And yes, I know I can spend a few hundred and get the software after I pass //'s strict interview and requirements.

NO thank you! I’ll take a Kenwood or ICOM ANY day!

actually, what makes them so valuable? Is it that they are programmable? Do they have much greater range? What is really so special about them anyway? I mean close to a grand? what is up with them?

Typical overpriced Motorola radios.

I truly feel Motorola people are so for status reasons. Most I have heard of are connected to the radio field in some way so programming is not as much of an issue.

I do not know the details first hand, but they are a typical mid/high end commercial radio. Performance and features seem no different than comparable Kenwood or Icoms.

250.00 for everything is a good price and if the batteries all work good then 300.00

If they are good people then a little may go along way. but if they are the type that nickle and dime you to death then you should charge them .What to charge well what does a repair guy charge to come out to look at your appliance?

???
Did you reply to the wrong thread?

Depending on the model and shape of your equipment, the radios will be worth $200-$300 each and the gang charger will be worth $200-$250

Hope this helps,
