Verizon is down in our area. We are using GMRS to stay in contact when out of the house. Glad we have the radios.
They do come in handy. We’re preparing for Milton to pay us a visit. Our neighborhood uses GMRS to coordinate needs in the area. Our local CERT checks out radios just for this purpose.
