I have some TYT TH-8600 and Retevis RB86 radios.
Finding the drivers for the cable have been a nightmare. I eventually found a driver but it was from the manufacturer of the Chinese rip off ProLogic board.
It took forever to find so I decided I would rather have a FTDI based USB to Serial converter.
I bought a 4 pack of these USB YP-05 USB to Serial-UART boards. They loaded right up on Windows 10. Plug and play. No drivers to find. You can grab them on Amazon.
For the TYT TH-8600 cable the red goes to ground, black goes to data transmit and white goes to data receive.
Works great. Zero issues.
