Tram Browning Model 1498 in HOA

Thinking of mounting a Tram Browning Model 1498 on a 10’ tall tilting antenna mast (need to hide it from the Home Owner’s Association).
Will tilting this antenna over to a horizontal position fairly often put excessive stress on the threaded couplings of the antenna?

That’s a good question. The 1498 is an 18 foot long antenna, so it has considerable weight. It was built to take some stress from fairly high wind, but from a vertical position, so moving it to and from a horizontal position periodically without some type of support could add extra stress to the couplings. You may want to consult with Tram.
