I have been trying on and off to melt the solder on a CP 040 for the past 6 months with no avail 
I have a 50 watt iron that can reach temperatures of 450 degrees Celsius which will melt through the board before melting the solder.
I am at my wits end trying to figure this little doozey out so if any of you guys know the secret of soldering Motorola radios please let me know!
