Ive been away from the forum for a while and have come back to see various messages regarding the programming of these radios.
There are 2 versions of this radio, even though the radio looks the same, the internal programming is completely different.

First thing you need to do is identify your firmware -

  1. If you have a firmware like this - L05.01.005 you need RT72 programming software.
  2. If you have a firmware like this - v02.02.014 you need the MD CPS software.
    Please feel free to ask me via this thread for any more information.

Hi may be you can help.following the instructions I have the radio is not showing up in win10 control panel as expected.tryed updating drivers still no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.or is it possible I have a dud radio.
