First off, I have a Baofeng DM1701 and a Ailuence Hd1, and in digital mode, I can’t get the two to acknowledge each other. Using no privacy codes, but on the same frequency, the Baofeng will hear the Ailuence, but the Ailuence wont hear the Baofeng. I have made sure that settings for the two are compatible as well.
So my question is can this work, or is simplex simply for analog? I’m not sure if there’s any benefit to digital simplex, but is simply something I thought of and wanted to try.
