Looking for an easy to use hands free system for our golf course staff. (10 units) Need range of anywhere from 30 feet to a mile and a half in hilly terrain.

Sounds like a two watt VHF radio would be perfect for your situation. Popular radios that fit this criteria are the Motorola RDV2020, Motorola XV2100, and the Kenwood TK2200. There is a $30 rebate on the Kenwood (if you buy minimum 6) through the end of April.
