I ordered a Wouxun KG-UV8D on Saturday the 3rd. I paid for 2 day shipping. The order was shipped Monday the 5th and I received it Wed the 7th. That is excellent service considering I ordered it on a weekend.
I am happy with this radio. It does everything it advertises. I only wish I could program it with Chirp. The Wouxun software leaves a lot to be desired. I couldn’t get it to read or write to the radio in windows 7, it just wouldn’t recognize any other serial port than COM1. I found that running it in Linux Wine worked. The software is a bit clunky but once you get the hang of it the programming is sorta smooth. I now have my radio setup exactly as I want it.
