Okay from a personal use standpoint, Im completely and utterly new to two way radio communication . I am looking for a set of radios that will let me converse from one vehicle to another. I frequently caravan with my friends and family. (Dad pulls the 5th wheel, I pull the boat). Distance is moderately important, however emphasis should be given to clarity, battery life, and durability (Im a fireman things just break, I cant help it). Thanks for any adivce and tips!
Pretty much anything will work, as long as distance doesn’t exceed 1/4 to 1/2 of a mile.
