When you’re into radio and you’re a parent, aunt, uncle or grandparent, it’s inevitable at some point to consider getting the kids a set walkies talkies like many of us had when we were young. The problem is, a lot of the toy radios are basically junk, and they aren’t cheap. Recently, I came across a site promoting a set of toy Thomas The Tank Engine walkie talkies that cost more than a Baofeng UV-5R.
