Hello, I am running security for a church and am looking for suggestions on 2-way radios. We need about 10-12 radios, I need to be able to talk to just one or to all the radios, headset accessory available, descent battery life, maybe some sort of whisper mode where I can talk softly into the microphone and it will carry through.
Any suggestions? We’re a bit tight on the budget…
The desire to talk to single radios pretty much limits you to a single choice, the TriSquare units. The ‘package’ buys on them give you 2 radios, charger base, and headsets, at $37.50 per individual radio, or about $50 per radio for the fancier version of the units. The more expensive version supports some text messaging.
