When chatting on an FRS Channel shared with GMRS, would I need a callsign to chat on that channel if I have no GMRS radio license and I am using FRS?

The short and complete answer is no. FRS does not require callsigns, so if you are using FRS, you don’t need one to communicate with either another FRS user or a GMRS user.

The power output and the radio certification is what distinguishes between FRS and GMRS. They both can talk on the shared frequencies but if you’re using the GMRS certified radio you should be following the power output and call sign rules on those frequencies. If you’re using an FRS radio the no need but power output should be reduced to 1 watt.
