I have a pair of motorola sx900 2 ways.
my friend has a pair of cobra pr4750wx 2 ways.
the cobra is clear in it’s tech specs about privacy code types - CTCSS or DSC - which are selectable for each channel.
the motorola is vague about what it uses. doesn’t say anything in the tech specs, and when I talked to motorola tech support they were like deer in headlights and just said flatly that “motorola uses digital systems”.
so does that mean that motorola uses DSC only privacy codes? or something else all together?
