We are going to Ely MN boundary waters to go canoeing and hiking
I need a 2way that can handle hills and trees. I am not concerned with price preferably 10 miles i can settle for less but at least has to reach 5 miles. Every time I think I have found a good one someone leaves a review that says it does not work under a mile! Pleas help!!!
Unfortunately, this is true. The average consumer radio won’t get you more than a mile or two.
Your best bet will be to go with MURS radios as VHF works in the hills and woods.
