Hi, I am wondering does the Motorola XV2100 or XV2600’s antenna can be changed? I would like to get a stubby antenna so that the radio is smaller. My goal is to get a small MURS radio to use outdoor with my colleague.
Unfortunately the antenna for the Motorola XTN series is fixed and cannot be changed. If you need MURS support with a stubby option, you may want to take a look at the Kenwood TK2200L-V2P. It has a removable antenna that can be replaced with a stubby.
