Rookie radio user here. I have 2 Motorola Talkabout T5710’s that I have had a for number of years. They were in storage for without use for a couple of years, batteries were removed before storage and they worked fine when I put them away and are in really good condition.
I pulled them out, charged the NiCd batteries and set all numbers on each unit the same, but they do not communicate with each other. The batteries have a strong charge and each unit displays and seems to function fine. I’ve scoured the manual to no avail. I’ve turned off QT mode on each, set interference codes to 0, tried alkaline batteries and still get nothing.
Any help is appreciated.
