Hi all looking forward to participating on this forum. I have used FRS/GMS radio a lot in Yellowstone for tracking geyser eruptions with a large group of folks. I would like to expand to a HAM radio(e.g. Kenwood TH-F6A or Yaesu FT-60R)
or commercial radio that can work with FRS but have a large capability better range and more uses.
Any recommendation or other thoughts on my needs?
