I recently purchased 2 Motorola RMU2080d radios and already have the CPS software and cable from Motorola but I don’t know how to set my own frequency. It only allows me to use the ones from factory. How can I plug in my own UHF frequency?
The simple answer is, you can’t. The RMU2080d is an on-site business radio and only supports 99 business frequencies. You can program which supported frequencies you want to assign to specific channels and set up other custom programmable features and options, but you cannot enter your own frequencies outside the frequency range and band of the radio.
