The belt clip designed for the Motorola RDX Series radios was changed slightly just before launch and it wasn’t possible for Motorola to update the instructions in the manual on how to remove it. In the future, the manual will be updated to include the new information. For now, however, if you need to remove your belt clip please follow these instructions:
1. Use a small flat head screwdriver (or similar device that can be inserted between the belt clip and battery) to push back the belt clip’s metal latch.
2. While holding back the metal latch, slide the belt clip upward to remove it.
