I had one of my staff working on a large Koi pond we have when he was done the radio was missing I said jokeing you didn’t drop it in the pond did you ? About three weeks later we drained the same pond down and there was the radio I took the back off and let it dry for two days out in the sun charged the battery and guess what it works fine hard to believe.
