Motorola radius CM300 problems

I have a Motorola CM 300 for my Fire/EMS career and I can receive transmissions perfectly within my coverage area. I can hear all radio traffic perfectly.

But when I go transmit on any channel the red transmit led comes on and I hear 2 beeps and the light shuts off and I can’t transmit. I’ve tried everything. I’ve cut it off and back on. I’ve unplugged it overnight and plugged it back in and the same thing happens still can’t transmit.

Would anyone know what’s happened or what’s going on

Sounds like transmissions on those frequencies have been inhibited in the programming. You will need to talk to your selling dealer or your agency radio shop to have this corrected.

Is this radio provided by your agency, or did you buy a used radio somewhere?
