Midland GXT900VP4 alernative?

This will be my first time buying and using a two-way radio.
I had the Midland GXT900VP4 on pre-order but it looks like I won’t be able to receive them before I need them. We’re leaving for a cruise on June 26th and wanted to use them on the cruise.

So what are the alternatives? I liked the GXT900 because of the power and range in combination with the price. Usage will be cruise and future vacations.

We’ve heard from several customers who have used Cobra LI-7200’s on a cruise with positive results. It is the highest power consumer radio that we carry, aside from the GXT900.
