I wan buy a good radio wath max range (4-5 miles in urban conditions) possible. Can someone help me choosing b/w the above two mentioned radios? or suggest some better than them @ similar price range?
Between the two models that you mention, I would suggest the Midland GXT700 if maximum range is your biggest concern. Our tests show them to have superior range to the Cobra radios. Four to five miles in urban conditions, however, is unlikely with either model. We typically see 1-2 miles of range with the high end Midland products.
