Midland GXT 700 help

Hi there I have a pair of these, and find them very good even though they are only 1.6 watt. I use standard batterys but these cost as i use my radios on regular basis.

Just wondering about buying the MIDLAND AVP-4 BATTERY AND CHARGER PACK and was wanting to know about the battery life and so on?

Those battery packs are excellent. They exceed 8 hours with normal use.

Is that on high power?

What would you say is normal usage?
