I see the Midland rechargeable 6V 700mAh AVP-7 now advertised for the Midland GXT1000 radios. Is this a replacement battery pack for the BATT-5R or just marketing and they are the same without any up grade in the AVP-7?
The Midland AVP-7 is the part number for a pair BATT-5R battery packs. It’s the same battery sold in a two pack.
