marine radio Mic help

Hey guys,

I have a ICOM IC-M72 Marine radio and I’m trying to find a compatible earbud with a inline push to talk system in it. Has anyone has any expierence with this unit, I know its newer model, but I figured I would ask anyways. Only things I have found are Mics with no ear bud attachment or throat/boom mics that pic up all sounds. I want to be able to have the PTT abilty.

Hi fattylo,
Use the part # OPC-1392 from Icom on the radio. This will convert the radio’s audio adapter to a single pin adapter. You can then purchase any single pin headset and it should work fine. PM me for more info
