My buddy and I both own kg1000g + units. We are both having the same problem, Without any indication, the radios freeze. You cannot recv or transmit. The only clue that it has happened is when you key the mc, and then release there is no tones/roger beep.
My radio was purchased in May 2023, his was purchased November 2023.
Anyone else having this problem??

Is Auto Power Off (from 30 minutes up to 150 Minutes) selected? Is the A or B side of the radio scanning just prior to "freezing?
If so, I have observed the radio locking up twice with the previous conditions set. What really kicks this off is if there is a transmission being received on a scanned channel at the same time the Auto Power Off executes. The radio doesn’t turn off, but does “freeze.” I no longer use the Auto Power Off feature. It is probably a bug that will never be fixed.
I know of two other people that have the same “freezing” issue.
