Hi. First time poster noob here. Has anyone else had issues trying to program the Wouxun KG-UV9G? I had issues with the USB cable drive but I have that worked out. Now I am getting an error with the programming software:
“An unsupported operation was attempted”
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please make sure your cable is using Com1 and reboot your PC otherwise it will not work.

Try the 32-bit software instead. There’s a directory installation location error with the 64-bit installer app. 
you may need to run the 32 bit in compatibility mode Try win7 first. Make sur you run it as admin
I ran my windows 10 in compatibility mode windows 8 to program my 905G and it works great
