KG-s88g plus programming issues

My s88g spontaneously lost the programming I had done through the CPS. One day I powered on, and it was simply gone.

Then when I tried to reprogram, I simply could not connect with the radio. I can do manual programming from the keypad, but nothing through my PC. Tried a factory reset as well…

The radio appears functional in other respects.

Anyone else have this problem?

Cool little radio, but I’m not having luck with them… :frowning_face:

Cascading issues, now when I initiate a scan from the keypad, it only scans simplex.

Okay, thanks to BTWR customer service, they determined the compatibility issue was me using s88g CPS with s88g+ radio. Sheesh.
Using the right software helps! :upside_down_face:

As far as the ‘lapsed memory’, we’ll see if that happens again. I don’t recall doing anything that would have that effect on the memory.
