Per the TK-3131 Instruction Manual, it says that the resetting operation will reset the transceiver to default values. Question. Does resetting change or reset the channels to the default frequencies or does it reset only the default menu functions?
The original TK-3131 FreeTalk is a GMRS radio, so the frequencies are factory set. Performing a reset should only affect the default settings and not the frequencies. If you have a TK-3130 or TK-3230 ProTalk that is programmed for GMRS frequencies to emulate the TK-3131, it will likely reset everything.
