Hi all. I have a Kenwood 880H two-way radio in my truck for responding to fire emergencies. Yesterday I used my raio with no problems but after I pwered it back up I recieved an error reading a bunch of 9’s accross the screen with dots over the top of them. Has anyone seen this within this radio and/or can you help me fix it?
can the radio still transmit or receive?

Ok…so it seems that the radio took a power surge. That surge tweeked the radio playing with the programming. Once we reprogrammed it, it worked fine. Lesson learned.
