Just purchased the Wouxun KG-UV9D Plus

… in the LE box kit. My first HT was an earlier version of the UV9. The cross-band repeat feature and super het receiver are the major draws to the new one. I’m going to set it up with a RAM mount in my truck to use as my “mobile lite” until I can get some home base station matters in order.

The description at the website (buytwowayradios) says a programming cable and software are included. Tips on using those resources will be appreciated.

USPS tracking says it is due to arrive today. Any other suggestions from the brain trust will be welcomed.

Hi rickwinger, I own a KG-UV3D with original battery date stamped Mar 2011. This much older 3D is an amazing device, thus you should be right-proud of your KG-UV9D. :+1:
