I recently purchased an Icom F4161 from eBay which was sold as “NEW” but it isn’t new since it has an installed code plug. I have asked the seller to provide the programming software password because I can not read the radio without this password…still waiting./ While reading the radio from the software (CS-F3160/5060) it starts the reading process asking for a password…shuts the radio down and sends me an error.
Next best this is to factory reset the radio.
How do I do that?
