How To Remove the Accessory Cap from a Kenwood 400 Series Radio

The Kenwood 400 Series has a lot of features that make it a solid business radio, but they made one design change that can be problematic. The older ProTalk radios used a single screw to attach the accessory port cap to the radio. The TK-2400 and TK-3400 radios use a snap-on cap, and to be frank, it isn’t easy to remove without breaking something.

In this episode of Radio 101, Anthony will show us how to quickly and safely remove and replace a Kenwood 400 Series accessory cap.
