hi,i dont know a thing about two way radios,so here goes,i was given a motorola t5422 radio but was not a lot of good on its own, so i bought a motorola t5950 of ebay.trouble is i am ether not operating them properly or they are broken or just not compatable,can somebody please help,cheers paul

They are incompatible. The 5422 is a European PMR radio and the 5950 is a USa FRS/GMRS radio. One way or another, depending on where you live, one of those radios is illegal to use. You need to get a compatible radio.
