I am trying to find inner-team radios that will be used in a foreign country so they will need to have at least 100 channels or so with some type of privacy lock or freq hop similar to a PRC 153. Im going to need 12 or so that need to run off AA’s since we wont have a power source. I am not a comm guy nor try to claim to be one but I need something that a typical foreign scanner cant pick up easily. Due to funding I need a pair of them to be under a hundred bucks or so. I will also need single ear headsets with a durable mic. Any tips are greatly appreciated.
The closet thing i could find are the Midland GXT1000VP4 36-Mile 50-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio (Pair).
