We just received new radios last week and one is acting up today:confused:
No one can hear me when I speak, but I can hear them.
I have removed the earpiece, but it is still registering it and won’t allow me to go into program.
The little face that pops up when the VOX feature is in use is flashing and won’t go away.
Any help?
Hi, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your CLS1110. Typically when one radio can hear others but its transmits aren’t being received, it usually means the other radios are using a privacy code but the “problem” radio isn’t. Since you are having other problems with your radio, however, this may not be the case with you.
It is very strange that the radio will not allow you to go into program mode. First, be sure the keypad is not locked (holding MENU for 3 seconds will unlock). If the radio is already unlocked, power it off and remove the battery. Then replace the battery and try again to go into program mode (hold MON and the Push-To-Talk button for 3 seconds while turning the radio on). You can also try resetting the radio to factory defaults. You can do this by holding down the Push-To-Talk button and the MENU button for a few seconds while powering on the unit.
If you still have problems with the radio, call us at 800-584-1445 or send us an email. We will be happy to send out a replacement radio with a return shipping label for the defective one.

The problem you are experiencing has to do with the headsets and not the radio itself. The headset isn’t being plugged in properly. You have to use a little force when plugging in headsets to ensure a watertight connection. The symptoms you are describing are a result of the radio “getting cunfused” as to whether the headset is plugged in or not.
