I’m new to the forum, after finding through a web search.
Currently, I am running CB and GMRS (Midland MXT400) in my truck. I use the radios when going offroad / overlanding with a few friends. I had been using CB for the last couple years due to its simplicity, but was frustrated with the knuckleheads and foul language on seemingly every CB channel. So I did a bit of research, acquired a GMRS License (WRAV888), and put an MXT400 in the truck.
I still use the CB for traffic reports (I do live in Philly after all), but most of the time, I don’t even turn it on.
My goals on the forum is to learn more about getting the best performance out of my radio.
