Hello I am from Queensland Australia, my reasons for joining this forum is a selfish one really I am seeking information on my sons VHF marine radio. the outputs does transmit but his volume into another radio is low and difficult to hear. The speech is clear but very soft, if I had had my motor running I wouldn’t be able to hear at all. I am thinking it is in the mic either the trigger switch or the speaker in the mic. I look forward to replies. Colsan.
I should add the radio receives quite well, lots of volume.
