I have 4 gxt 2000’s and i want to get 4 more but they are discontinued. What other models are compatible with them?
Hi, it depends on your definition of compatibility. If you want to use the same battery packs, it could be an issue, because the the LiPo battery pack used with the GXT2000/GXT2050 is somewhat unique to the radio.
If you are searching for audio accessory compatibility, it’s much easier. The GXT2000 uses the same Midland connector as many other models in the GXT and LXT series.
If you want general compatibility on the airwaves, it’s not an issue at all. The GXT2000 is an FRS/GMRS radio and almost any other FRS/GMRS radio will talk with it.
