I just discovered this Forum! I’ve been into radio since I was 6-years old. I started out when my dad bought me a pair of Walkie-Talkies for Christmas. When I got my first car in 1978, I put a CB Radio in it, then a year later put up a CB Base Station. I was into CB until the end of the 20th Century when I finally got my Ham Radio “Ticket.” Most recently I’ve started dabbling in GMRS. I think a lot of Hams dabble in GMRS these days.
