know what I must do…please help me…
any one can help me plz…plz…
Hi. That model is primarily sold in Asia and you need the CPS for that version in order to program it. If your friends programmed their radios so that you cannot communicate with them, you will need to know what frequency or frequencies they are using and any interference eliminator codes, voice scrambling, etc. they are using in order to match it.
Also, there are both UHF and VHF versions of this radio. Are you all using the same versions of the radio? Do you know what frequencies you are all using? Did your friends make changes to the channel on their radios or on your radio? Your post isn’t specific. Without more details it is difficult to determine how to answer your question. Since your friend apparently programmed their (or your) radio, you will likely need to consult with your friend to reprogram it.
first thanks for ur reply…
1-my friends still using same frequensy
2-the radio is uhf version
3-I have the cps and rib box but I don’t know how use…everything i did …is reading the radio by cps but the qustion is what I can do to hear my friend’s sound not not the sound in the link…what is the options do this…
4-the changes are in my friend’s radio not in mine…so I have to know what I can do with cps to change my radio in the same mode
thanx again and please take my hand to solving this matter…
generally if you are not able to hear them on the same frequency they may have added a digital tone while programming the radio
I can hear sound like a voice wheezing…I expect that voice encryption…
Is this radio encodes sound?? And how I can make the same channel on my radio encrypted by cps program…
im not all that familiar with motorola , if your hearing alot of noise while using your radio try adjusting your squelch level it is likely to high or to low and will generate noise another way to help noise interference would be to try a noise filter, generally the use of these ctcss tones is to minimize radio chatter on a shared frequency in order to change this you would have to add a ctcss tone to the same as your friends in order to hear each other.
Once again, you will need to know what your friend specifically programmed into his radio and match it. The gp338 is sold in Asia and the Pacific Rim and is not distributed by Motorola in the US. We’re in the US, so I am personally not familiar with that model. However, if I understand what you said in your original post, your friend told you that he could program his radio so you couldn’t hear him, and he did.
Unless you know specifically what changes he made to his radio and match it, you will likely be looking for a needle in a haystack.
