Just applied ( 12-10-15) and paid for my Gmrs License. When should I see it on the FCC web site as well will I get a paper copy?

You’ll get a hard copy in the mail after a couple of weeks. It’ll show up in the database as well.

You should see it in the FCC ULS tomorrow morning.

The FCC no longer issues paper licenses. You will have to create an account on the FCC ULS and then either request they mail you one, or download the official copy yourself and print it.

All they mail you is a plain white paper printout of the same info you can download. I print mine on the same type security paper they used to print them on in years past.
