I believe none of the GMRS radios are IC certified, but there are channels that only transmit 0.5 watts and my FCC GMRS license states that the frequencies that correspond to channels 19 & 21 cannot be used in Canada. Does anyone have a clear understanding about using GMRS radios in Canada.
You must use IC certified radios. A USA GMRS radio cannot be used, as it has characteristics that are not legal in Canada

To date I have found NO Canadian regulations forbidding one to use any of the 22 GMRS channels. I have also found reference to a 23rd channel though in the U.S. that is one of their repeater channels 467.725 Mhz.
