Recent DTR700 user here. Love the radios. One question is, is there any hope of Motorola upgrading the firmware to allow users to manually enter custom text messages from the keypad? I know entry would be slow but I don’t really mind. What matters is to dynamically enter text messages on the fly.
That’s not likely, given the limited keypad and its current functionality. However, considering it’s Motorola, one never knows.
